What are the best tires for a Volvo 940?

I'm planning on replacing the Pirelli tires currently on my 94 940 Volvo. Which are the best highway tires for this car?

Maybe the market is different, but in Europe I would buy Michelin. They are definitely the best for Volvo if you are just looking for a standard tire.

it really depends on what you want to do with them- are you looking for performance? longevity? combination of both?

also- what size tire do you currently have? that will limit some of your choices if you are looking to replace a stock tire. do you have aftermarket rims?
