Boost gauge

Post by Fendar »

Anyone installed one on a 01 c70 or similar? I see these posts where people have vaccuum trees they tap into, but I don't believe my car has a tree. If it does, and I just can't find it (tranny dipstick), please enlighten me! If I have no tree is it possible to put a "T" in one of the vaccum lines? If so.. Which one? It's frustrating that Volvo didn't put a boost gauge on the instrument cluster, hopefully I can find an attractive place to mount one. Thx.

I know it is on a xc90 or something like that but it may give you some direction with the C70.

Thank you that was very helpful. Now i know where the vaccuum line is to T into. Now I just need to figure out how to get the tubing through the firewall, the c70 is much different in that aspect. Also thanks for the 10% off on my spark plugs and brakes!

Is the C70 is anything like my 850, there should be a way to get the tube into the lower A pillar and then through the fender like the newer S60.
