How Bad of an Idea is This?

Post by Dasrah »

Simple Question: I removed the rear seats out of my '01 V70 T5 last night, so the SRS sensor connections are unhooked. Do I have to reconnect them before I reconnect the battery and try to drive the car? Or can I just leave them out for now?

I need to do a few more things to the car AND the seats before reinstall them, but I also need to use the car. It was such a pain in the A to get them out! I dont want to have to do it all over again and then again.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I didn't know the SRS light was hooked up to the rear seats.
Yes, you will have to go to a Volvo dealer to clear the light that you will get if they're not hooked back up before the battery is.

+1

What are you doing to the seats? If they are only going to be out for a day or so, I would just finish them if you can and put them back in. If not, then the dealer, you will go.
