Can anyone recommend a warranty for cars with 100K + miles? Or does such even exist? I've looked at Warranty Direct, but I'm a little worried just going with someone from the web, don't want to get caught in a scam.

Warranties for older cars
IMHO, a total rip off, they can't make money selling warranties any other way. Take the $1500, or more, that the warranty company wants to charge you and put it in the bank. That money will cover far more repairs than the warranty ever will.
Good luck.
Good luck.

There used to be but not anymore.
(I'm a dealer)
We used to be able to GIVE a free basic (plus) 6 mo 6K miles with a cheap ($450) upgrade to 3 years fairly comprehensive warranty that actually paid you something if you had a failure with any of the covered parts... but no more.
That company (PENN WARRANTY, stay away) was sold and the new owner knows only one thing, to DENY DENY DENY payment.
Needless to say I can't offer a warranty on my GEN 1's anymore

Mod note. Jim passed away in early 2022, his contributions to this forum are immortal, and he is missed. RIP
