Very Minor Transmission Leakage

Post by Kenny 1998 S70 »

Any Idea What Should I do? I took my 1998 S70 Volvo for an oil change last week and they found slight moisture underneath the transmission. I was able go underneath and see it only because they put the car in the raiser. The guy doing the visual inspection advised me since it is onlyt a very minor one, for me to put some Transmission sealer oil inside and it migt stop it. Is it costly to fix properly? any ides. my car has 145, 000 KM. Thanks in advance Kenny 98 S70

Are you sure it's transmission fluid? A more likely cause is a rear main seal issue causing motor oil to leak.
