S60 R: sunroof, dome lights inoperable. Reset the UEM?

S60 R: sunroof, dome lights inoperable. Reset the UEM?

Hey i have 04 s60r love the car but the sunroof dont work keyless entry dont work dome lights dont work. And sunday i put new strut tower bushing on and now it says chassis settings need to be reproggamed. that dont come on all the time. any ideas?

try resetting the UEM. With the key, lock/unlock vehicle 3 times in a row.

will try that. after i lock door. do i only unlock drivers door, because if turn lock twice it will unlock rest of doors

No
Just lock/unlock three times
Open drivers door-close, open, etc
Don't worry about the other doors

so i lock door the unlock door then open door the shut door the do the same thing two more times. And then if that does work what next?

No, please read what is written and don't elaborate on your own
Lock and unlock with the key three times
Don't open or close the doors, (no one said that)

1997 850 T5 [gone] w/ MSD ignition coil, Hallman manual boost controller, injectors, R bumper, OMP strut brace

unlocking doors did not work. what next?

It is perfectly obvious to me that you have the failed alarm module problem.
The batteries inside leak and destroy the circuit board.
Don't ask me why the sunroof is wired into it.
Replacement with labor around $300.
Continue searching this site and find another discussion which includes a pictorial how-to-do-it.
