87 760 turbo Overdrive relay question
Can anyone tell me which pins on the relay are used to send power to OD , so i can just take apart a regular 5 pin relay and internally short out the pins to allow OD to remain on? Is it 30,87 or 30, 87a? Thanks... Or would it be better doing it from headlight relay? if so which pins to use as I don't have wiring diagram for car.. thanks
Hi, #87 is going to the solenoid. The power to the relay is at # 15.
#87A is for indicator lamp, #31 is ground, # 85 is some limit switch at gearbox and # 86 in the push button.
Have you tried to open the OD relay and resolder it, it most cases it will start working again. It is very common that you get small crack in the soldering in this relay.
