As in the past which we talked about then, (it's been good for a while) everytime I hit the back button or sign off, I have to log in all over again

This is a different issue. But about your login/out problem, I didn't have any answers then and I don't now.
To you it looks like it's me "it doesn't happen on any other forum", but to me it looks like it's you "you're the only user who reports this problem".
Your problem with the forum has survived a complete rewrite of the forum code (phpBB2 - phpBB3). That was no trivial undertaking, clocking in at around five years of coding and testing by the phpBB crew.
I'm at a loss.

My browser keeps me logged in here, but every few days or so I do get logged out. Not a big deal as I have it set to remember my password and info.
I suspect JRL's issue might be AOL related. Getting rid of AOL in 2002 or so was the best thing we ever did!
