Shift lock release

I am new to the forum and recently purchased our 2007 S-60 from lease. I want to replace the radio and the instructions say move the shift stick rearward as far as possible. With the battery disconnected it will not move. Is there a shift lock release for the Volvo as in other cars? if so where is it? Or, is there another way to move it?

Turn the ign off and Disconect the battery AFTER moving the shifter.
