2005 xc70 rear bumper fit on 2001??

2005 xc70 rear bumper fit on 2001??
Was wondering if anyone knew if a 2005 bumper (for xc70) would fit on a 2001? I think they should just snap right on .. but wanted to check first. Was interested in putting a newer on my ride.. as its getting a bit faded and the 2005 has the "aluminium skid plate" looking thing in the rear.. looks nice...

I don't see why not but if your just looking for the "aluminum" plate, (plastic BTW), you can buy and install it separately.
The plate IS a separate piece BTW and has to be purchased that way unless you're buying a used one.
