Engine System Service Required-no fault codes! 2001, V70 T5

Post by Yvonne »

Well, I finally found a new mechanic (no more dealer! :D ), and the car hasn't run this well in two years! After my 130,000 service, however, the Engine System Service Required light came on. I've taken it back twice, and there are no fault codes coming up. The car is occasionally "bumpy" feeling at stops and when in park. Vibrating. Of course, neither the ESSR display(it randomly comes on and turns off), or the vibration happens when at the shop! The car "behaves", and the guys at the shop haven't experienced a thing.
Could the display light and vibration be related? And if so, what is it? The car has received a clean bill of health in regards to the engine.
Any thoughts that I can bring up with the guys are appreciated!
Thanks!
