I've been getting around 21 mpg mixed

In my new-ish 2004 V70 R. It's well tuned, all new fluids, plugs. Stage 0.

That's mixed highway/city, so it's not really a good number to compare your car to. But there it is FWIW. Occasional full throttle squirt onto the highway, or to pass, etc.

About 320 miles until the light comes on. Been putting 91 premium in her.

Engine sounds good, no problems. Control arm bushings might be getting a bit worn, she's starting to pull a little when the pavement is uneven, throttle makes it a bit worse.

Good car so far. Back story of my 2004 V70 buy.

Oh, the trip computer's MPG estimate is a little on the happy side, maybe 3% optimistic, unlike my 850 T5's, which is dead on.

I could never get much more than 18 all around in either of mine but I DO drive more "city" than highway.
I don't know where you live but these R's do not like 91.
If you have access to 93, use it

I got 28 and change over a 200 mile trip this past weekend....all highway, 65-75 mph. The trip computer said 25.x MPG. Around town is another story. I use 91 octane.

In my 2004 S60R with 72K on her. I get around 22 MPG with 50/50 city/highway. On a full highway trip, I get around 28 to 30 MPG. my SR is also full up to date on maintenance.
