Volvo mechanic in Boston

I am looking for a Volvo mechanic in the Boston or Quincy MA area. My current mechanic isn't all that well versed in Volvos and would just as soon see me get rid of my '99 V70XC.

So, does anyone know of a reputable, reasonably priced independent Volvo specialist in the Boston area?

I think the closest really good Volvo independent is just North of Worcester. I don't remember any in Boston.
John at Boston Village Volvo is a strong supporter - especially on a different Volvo site. Perhaps you could call him to see if he knows anyone. He is a great guy to have on your side if you are buying parts.

I actually work next door to Boston Volvo Village but I don't have enough Benjamins to afford them!

I think that name is correct. I was a damage appraiser in MA for years. He was on the same street as one of the bigger body shops and I passed it often. People were fanatical about using him.

I would still check with John in the parts dept. He seems like a good guy who would know of other quality independents. If you could get a private conversation with him he might know something -maybe not - but its worth the shot.

I did find a listing on the Swedish Bricks site for a place in Allston MA called Broadway Foreign Auto. Says they are Volvo and Saab specialists. They are right around the corner from me, so I'll probably give them a try. Anyone know anything about them?
