I am shopping for a new battery.
Autozone Duralast Group 47 (or 48) battery is about $93.00!
Is there a cheaper alternative?

Wal-Mart EverStart $72 including tax in Spring of 08 in the 98 S70
AutoZone Duralast $99 including tax in Winter of 09 in the 00 V70
No discernable difference but I like the Wal-Mart price. So I also have the Wal-Mart battery in my 99 Saab and in the wife's 00 Odyssey. On the other hand....I have a Duralast Gold in my 94 Toyota Previa that's going on 9 or 10 years old. Made it through last winter with no issues.

Interstate.
My Interstate crapped out after 6 years this summer (my car is used a lot, and that battery has been run down to flat quite a few times by various electrical things), and was replaced with a Duralast because I couldn't quickly get my hands on another Interstate. I had one of these in my old Honda for 6+ years, and it still cranked even when the engine itself didn't feel like starting.

Napa Gold International (group 48) ~$95. I bought it about three weeks ago to replace an Interstate Group 48 that lasted about 7 years. Seems pretty well made so far but time will tell.
1997 855 GLT (Light Pressure Turbo) still going strong. Previous: 1986 240 GL rusted out in '06, 1985 Saab 900T rusted out in '95, 1975 Saab 99 rusted out in '95, 1973 Saab 99 rusted out in '94
