I'm trying to buy front brake pads for my 1986 760 gle turbo. The parts store is asking if i have bendix or grunning. What does this mean and how do i find this out.

Sorry I meant to say they are asking for bendix or Girling Calipers. Also with sensor or without. (what does the sensor do?)
