Leaking Trans

the underside of my car is covered in tranmission oil and it was a quart low.......

CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP.

I just drove 5 hrs on fri, 6 on monday and 4 today.

Tomorrow, another 4 hours of driving and maybe again on thurs.

Anyway, are there common reasons for a leaking auto trans

brox.. basically you need to try and figure out where the leak is coming from or general area and then let us know and go from there. It could be something simple or serious. try and clean everything up. if you can post pics that would be very helpful.

yea, I am going to clean it up this weekend.

the crap part is that my back up car is also down.....and I just moved to a new house with a one year old.......

I would look closely at the transmission cooler lines into the radiator. Earlier this year, one of my trans. lines, and both my oil cooler lines were leaking at the crimps.

the radiator was recently replaced, so maybe that has something to do with it
