P0015 '01 S40

Hi,
I have a 2001 S40 with a check engine code of P0015 Camshaft Position Actuator B Bank 1 Timing Over - Retard. I have seen posts about this code, but many of them also seem to have a rough running engine. The engine is running just fine, but this code will come and go. It will go away on it's own only to return within a week or so. I have looked through the Hanes manual, and seen some postings about the VVT solenoid. Has anyone had any experience actually getting this code fixed, and if so PLEASE help with your solution(s).
