three times at 70mph have had abs activate, I think in left front, while braking
this 95 850glt has 175K and good looking pads and rotors. I guess I didn't write on my spreadsheet when I last did the brakes, but they look 6-7 mm and rotors minimal wear. only A3 code: 142 faulty brake pedal switch. I cleared it.
my abs light is on for 2 sec after key is in position II. braking at lower speed no problem. suspension good: just had it checked.
the car runs well and gets 27mpg on interstate.
the last time this happened in traffic, I later checked to see if it would occur again when no one was around. It did, and seems like abs activating L caliper or the caliper seizing. But if this were the case, then I don't think the rotor would look so good.
??what is causing this? brake pedal switch?
high speed brake grabbing, No abs light
