Radiator fan...what kind of bolts required?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Radiator fan...what kind of bolts required?

Post by juny20 »

Hello everyone, I was changing the air filter on my 04 S80 T6 and noticed that the front upper bolts that hold the fan in place are missing. The fan rattles and is loose. Can someone tell me what screws I need to buy? Size, etc? I purchased the car four months ago and did not notice this...

They are SEMS screws which are bolts or screws with built-in washers. Unfortunately, I don't know the size but the part number is 969339 at a cost of just under $2.00 each.
