850 glt 93" ABS LIGHT's when turning

Hi, i have an 850 glt 1993 ( 104.000 km ) working fine. This last weeks the abs lights come one for 1-2 seconds when turning right, specially in short and closed turning.

The brake fluid it's ok, rotors and pads are ok.

Any idea?

It sounds like your ABS control unit is dying. It's common on 850s, and Volvo isn't taking responsibility for this high-percentage failure.

New units are US$400 + without labor.

It also might be a clogged sensor... much less time/money needed.

Get an 850 manual (Publishers: Haynes, Chilton) to find out where these are. I've never had problems and haven't had to adress this issue myself.

Or if anyone can comment on where these are...

if you can find a junked 850 with lower miles grabbin the unit off it might be a cheaper fix

i havent needed to find anything at one yet, but i know of some good local ones to go to if i ever need to
