S60 Radio Speakers Stopped Working

S60 Radio Speakers Stopped Working

My 2006 S60 has an HU-650 radio. My speakers stopped working. Sometimes they come on for a few minutes, then go off. The radio displays all the presets accurately. The CD changer/player displays all the info correctly. The parking assist also displays accurately but does not beep. What should I be looking for?

Your amp is probably going bad.
It's overheating and shutting off.
Play it at LOW volume and see if it still happens and make sure that nothing is blocking it (for cooling, under the pass. seat)

Where under the seat is the amp located? I looked under both front seats and don't see it.
