S80 Service reminder reset (2007-on)

How do you reset the "time to schedule maintenance" reminder in a newer S80. I've read some of the threads on other volvos but it doesn't seem to work on mine, since it has the push button start. Any ideas? Thanks.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Push in the button in the Driver Information Module (DIM) and push the start button once then wait 5 seconds then push and hold it until your lights come on and wait for the "I" to start blinking and let go of the button on the DIM.

Apparently it may take more than one attempt.

Thanks for the post. I assume the button on the DIM is the "read" button on the turn signal lever. I tried numerous times, but the "i" never starts blinking. It just comes on and then goes off after about a minute or so. It must be pretty stingy on these newer volvos. Thanks.
