what to look for?? ABS, half-shaft, eng mount, tranny?

some lady in the right lane next to me made a left turn right in front of me. causing me to slam hard on the brakes. we weren't going that fast, maybe 30? and i didn't even have my foot on the gas, like i was kind of expecting something to happen.
BUT now my 04 v70 is slamming into gear, first to second the hardest???? it never did this before.. what to look for, lower engine motor mount gone bad or just hitting the brakes hard did something to my half-shafts or tranny?? which doesn't make sense...
could it be some kind of issue with the ABS brakes from slamming on them???
what do you all think.. driving it today it almost feels like it might be getting better????
