V70 ABS Module BBA-reman

Post by MOMSVOLVO »

My ABS Warning Light came on so I took it to the dealer hoping it was a bad sensor. They quoted me $1,600 to replace the ABS control module. Since that would gobble up more than a Social Security check, I searched this site for alternatives. I ended up taking out the sensor and shipping it to BBA-reman. They repaired it but did not charge me because they could not warranty it. It works fine. My total cost $15 for expedited shipping, a reduction of about 99%.
These people were fast, efficient, honest and I talked to a real person when I called. There was no fumbling or repeating who I was. They kept me informed of their quick process. You can go to their website (bba-reman.com) or go thru e-bay.

I call spam.

Nobody will repair an 02 module except Xemodex, and nobody in their right mind will do it for $15.

The repair was not charged because they could not provide a warranty. The repaired module works fine. The $15 was for expedited return shipping.
