Well I wasn't sure which forum this would belong in.. so I chose the one with "general discussion" in the description.
I'm looking for a tool I saw in my friends tool chest the other day.
It's an extension for a ratchet that has a "ball-joint"/"ball-and-joint" mechanism to allow for off-angle or "swivel" ratcheting. It's not a "wobble-extension", and it's not a "universal joint" extension.
I just spent about an hour on google search, using advanced search and all that. No dice!
What the heck - where can I get one? Anybody know what I'm referring to - I'm sure somebody must.
It seems like it would give MUCH more "play" or off-angle ratcheting ability than a wobble extension.
Note - it might not be a long "extension" per say, maybe it's only in the length of a uni-joint, say about 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches, with a ball and joint mechanism. One end attaches to your ratchet, and the other you fit with whatever socket (or extension and then socket) you want to use.
Thanks in advance for any help guys.
I hate when I can't find something on the internet - the freakin' internet!
