how would you install a aftermarket sub and amp into the new volvo s40 with the weird head unit and stuff is it just the same as normal or how would you go abbout it?

It would be the same as any sub. installation but the integrated radio and wiring will make it hard to trace out the connections. I would take the speaker signals from the rear speakers and feed the Sub. if it has a hi level input. Or you can purchase an attenuation cable that will do the same job.

May be simpler

Anyone have experience installing the Volvo Subwoofer HT-841 themselves? Apparently the car is totally prewired, so I can't imagine it would be that difficult. Thanks in advance.
