2001 S60 T5 Drivability Issue

2001 S60 T5 Auto Trans 100k miles

On gentle acceleration, the engine hesitates/surges in a way that feels like a carburetted engine that is jetted too lean. Worse with A/C on.

No MIL codes (or Check Engine Light).

Idle is dead smooth, and moderate or heavy acceleration is fine.

bad injector?

when was the last time the plugs were changed?

Plugs and new coils fitted w/ in the last 3000mi by prior owner.
