Sorry to see.
Yep, most probably that will total out an 01 (real close) but now you can buy that RARE 2006 T5M!
You realize they only made about 100 T5Ms for 05 and 100 T5Ms for 06 that came to the US?
I bought and sold an 05 about a year and a half ago, I stole it and would have kept it myself if the timing had been right as it was white, one of only 3 in white T5Ms for 2005!
(I LOVE white cars in general)

Well, don't give anything else away at this point. It's time to play "poker". Don't make a bad situation worse.
1. Don't let on to anyone you're after the car, especially the tech who is first in line...
2. EXCEPT the manager who is responsible for internal sales (or whoever it is). Make it clear you want it, that you're #2.
3. Ask for confidentiality with that person of your desire to buy the car.
You also might want to remove your location in your MVS user control panel (put USA) so that somebody here cannot also get in line to buy it. I'd hate to think that someone would, but like I say, the Internet is a big, dark place, and anyone on it can read posts here without logging on or registering.
Back to the car itself, for those following at home, I've said it before and I'll say it again: when you're buying a used Volvo, it's all in the sample. The year/model will give you a general direction on what you'll face with maintenance. But a well-treated local car with records, one owner will double or triple your chance of getting a great Volvo. It's THE biggest variable in the used car reliability statistics game.

Just did this for you, nevermind. Let me know if you'd like to restore it to your city name after this is over.matthew1 wrote:You also might want to remove your location in your MVS user control panel (put USA) so that somebody here cannot also get in line to buy it.

thanks soo much Matthew..YES i have verified this is a one owner vehicle and it was meticulously taken care of. I REALLY wanted to wait for the insurance co. to declare my v70 a total loss before i proceed on what i want to do. I haven't told anyone i was interested in the t5 m just yet. not even my manager (good friend) i was hoping if the insurance company declared the v70 "totaled" then he'd have some sympathy for me. Employee price is set at $8500 for the vehicle. I'm trying to think..is the v70 worth repairing, replacing tires, and tranny??
Such a difficult choice for me, i love these cars!

OK SO UPDATE FOLKS!!!
SPOKE WITH MY MANAGER TODAY..HE TOLD ME TO WAIT 30 DAYS, BECAUSE THE VEHICLE IS SUCH A HOT AND RARE TYPE, BUT IF IT'S STILL THERE AFTER 30 DAYS..HE SAYS IT'S ALL MINE...NOW AS FAR AS MY V70 GOES..I'M STILL HOPING THE INSURANCE DECLARES IT A TOTAL LOSS JUST SO I CAN BE FREE OF IT!
