My new 850
I am buying a 95 850 glt wagon with 171,000.
It is in great condition and seems to run good. What do you recommend would be the first thing mechanically, I should do with it, possibly a tune up?
95 850 GLT Wagon 170,000, Mobil-1
94 850 GLT sedan 215,000
86 740 GLE wagon 140,000
Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ.

Change the flame trap system. Then start on your oil leaks. Congratulations on your new car.

New plugs as well - either the Volvo OEM 3-prong plugs or Bosch Copper's gapped at .030".
Test your radiator hoses - if they're squishy in any areas, please replace them - overheating is the most common engine destroyer for these cars.
Have a look at the transmission fluid. If it's brownish looking, I'd do a series of 3-4 drain and fills of the fluid via the drain plug at the bottom, spacing them out about a week or two between each.
