Foe Sale: 1999 Volvo V70 Cheap - MD

Post by sideout2002 »

1999 Volvo V70 Wagon
Black with tan leather interior
Auto, 99k miles
New tires and newly tinted windows
mb quart speakers in front and eclipse in rear
Good condition but not perfect

The ETS light just came on yesterday and we don't have the money to fix it right now. Idle jumps from 300-600 at park and semms as if it will stall but never does.

Selling cheap becuase we know what the repairs usually cost for this fix.

KBB goes anywhere from $7450-$6800 in good-excellent condition.

ASKING $4800

Can email pics upon request.

Sideout, just for my curiosity, was the warranty a factory, dealer, or 3rd party warranty?

it was the carmax warranty. When Carmax had called it in the warranty company said it would not be covered because they did not have the mechanics diagnosis of "bad throttle position sensor"...all the warranty company saw was the replacement part of "throttle body" which is not covered. After faxing some paperwork, Carmax decided to cover the work.
We purchased the vehicle used in 2003 from carmax with a 3 yr/36k mi warranty (thank goodness).
