ok i have a volvo 850 t5 estate on a 94. i was cleaning the connections on my air flow meter (maf sensor) and snapped one ,,,oh dear i paniced ,,now i also have a cavalier 2.5 v6 auto so having loads of parts i took one of my cavalier spare air flow meters and put the inside on my volvo ..it starts great ,drives great and ticks over sweet as a nut !!!!! so my t5 now has a cavalier 2.5 v6 maf sensor ...who would of thought eh !!!

:shock: you got me mate i wouldnt in a million years of thought of doing that till i read this post,after reading what you wrote i went and tried my brothers spare maf off his wrecked v6 cavalier and fair play to you mate it does work rather well. :shock:

hard to believe when you think about it that that afm would work on a t5 i cant get a hold of one of them and anyway mine works ok as it is -good to know for future ref though eh !![/img][/i]

my sis has a volvo 850 t5 on a p and i dont know why that v6 maf works on them but if they are so cheap to pick up from the scrappys (plus you get to take it back if it dont work) i may just head on down and get some during the week handy to keep for her save her some buckuths
