S70 '98 dashboard symbol Topic is solved

Hi:

Thanks for this web site. I have a '98 S-70. Recently there has been on rhe left side of my dashboard/panel a symbol. Its shaped like a circle. There is a smaller circle inside with a line coming out of the top, bottom and sides. It doesn't always come on. I have noticed it appearing when I brake, but not every time. Does anyone have a clue? Any help would be appreciated.

From my 1998 S70 Owner's manual:

Bulb failure warning light

The light will come on if any of the following bulbs are defective:
# one of the low beam headlights
# one of the tail lights
# one of the brake lights when the brake pedal is depressed.
Check the fuse and bulb.
