S60 fuel gauge

The fuel gauge on my S60 will only show half when the tank is full, not sure if I can trust it anymore. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the fuel sender unit inside the tank needs replacing.

Remove the rear seat and the carpet, there should be an access hatch to allow you to take out the fuel pump.
