Is the S/V 40 a joint venture between Volvo and Mitsubishi?

Developed as a venture between Volvo with Mitsubishi, the Volvo S40 sedan and V40 wagon are built in the Netherlands. -- that's from my S/V40 page.

There might be even more engines available than I list on that page. Seems it came with numerous different powerplants.
