how to remove S80 2005 radio to make CD changer connections

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

how to remove S80 2005 radio to make CD changer connections

Post by dalipsingh »

Can someone post how difficult/easy it is to remove S80 2005 radio. I need to install a CD changer and need access to radio back. Also, can one swap out the regular headlight modules with xenon modules? meaning I did not get the xenon option so can i do the conversion myself?

thanks.

My dealer told me before I bought my 2005 S80 that it is PRE-WIRED for a cd changed. I understand that there is a plug in the glove box. The cd changer goes in the glove box.

I have the xenon bulbs in my 05 and love them. We bought the option because we were told you can't convert w/o extnesive efforts and more $$$$ than just getting them from the factory.

Steve
Thanks, Steve
