H&R springs with questions
H&R springs with questions
I'm looking at IPD's H&R sport springs for my 2003 v70. They ask if I have nivomat suspension or no nivomat suspension. How do I determine this? In addition, I'm looking at their 18" Pegasus replicas. So with lowering and bigger rims, anyone know the dimension tire I'd need to prevent bottoming out? Low profile obvioustly but what dimension? Thanks!

If you have a regular Wagon (non XC) you do NOT have self leveling (Nivomats).
IPD PEG repicas are 1/2" narrower than the OEM PEGS so you can go with 235/40/18.
Personally I would consider going with 17s and using either 235/45/17s or 225/45/17s.
The conbination of lowering AND going with 18 may give you a rude awakening, it will be quite stiff,
17s will make the ride "just right"

I believe I said why, with 18s and springs, your V70 will ride like a buckboard... PLUS you probably will be spending a lot on bent wheels!zooplane wrote:awesome... and i do have a regular wagon... can you elaborate a little bit more on your reasoning for switching from 18" to 17"??
Not mentioning it being a T5 I'm assuming it's a 2.4 na.
Why would you go thru all this with a wagon that's so anemic it can't get out of its own way!
