Replace the fuel filter? It's only about a year old. And I got it from FCP Groton.
Age is not the issue. If it is clogged there will be no-flow but it can have a diminished flow.

The cat test mentioned by others - how did that go?

The problem you have described is a result on one or more of the following: not enough fuel, not enough air, or a restriction on the exhaust.

It would also be good to know what your fuel pressure is running. The "random stalling" fixed by replacing the relay for your fuel pump leads me to believe you have a fuel related problem. Has you fuel pump ever been replaced?
Yes the fuel pump was replaced about 5 years ago. I don't think it was crapping out at the time, but it was changed anyway just to be on the safe side.

I don't think the "random stalling" was caused solely by a worn out relay. The bracket for the relay connector seems to have broken so when I tried to install the new relay, the connector just went down into the housing. I had to go under the dash and hold it up while someone else pushed it on. This leads me to believe that the relay might not have fully seated on the connector, which would cause random stalling. But I still replaced it just to be on the safe side. The stalling has stopped nevertheless, so I'm happy about that part

Now that I think about it, the exhaust pipe bracket right behind the bumper broke off about 6 or so months ago. "Tsquared" said it could be an exhaust restriction. I've tried supporting it with coat hangers, zip ties, bungee cords, you name it. But after a while the heat would burn right through whatever I support it with, which would lead to the exhaust hanging a bit by the next bracket. Hitting enough bumps and dips with that bracket broken off might cause the exhaust pipe to bend right? It doesn't literally hang low, I just knows it dips a little low when I hit dips. Would that cause a lag in power like that?...........My car feels like it has turbo lag, but without the turbo

I think I fixed the problem. My airbox thermostat was stuck on hot air, so I jammed a 10mm socket in there to keep it on cold air. That took care of the loss of power. The only thing is that when I'm going full power it shifts a little harder than it used to. But that's only under full power.
