Cyliner 5 misfire
I have a S80 Turbo with a cylinder 5 misfire code. will it hurt the engine driving it around with it misfiring ?

Driving it with a misfiring cylinder is never good. The risk and extent of damage from doing so is not going to be something someone can tell you without knowing the reason it is missing. An injector not delivering fuel to a cylinder is pretty harmless but it may cause the other two cylinders in that control group (#5 is part of Bank 2) to get extra fuel.
If it is a bad ignition coil then there is raw fuel passing through and out the exhaust and that is not good for that cylinder and will cause damage to the catalytic converter and the two oxygen sensors. All of those pieces are expensive.
If the misfiring is due to a damaged inlet or exhaust valve it could break and damage engine to a point where it can't be repaired.

Yes, bad idea. If its the coild you can damage your cat\O2 sensors and in extreme cases can be a fire hazard. For now, disconnect the injector connector so at least its not dumping in fuel. I've had good success with the $50 coils from O'Reillys.
