Radiator, Water Pump, Timing Belt, Timing Belt Tensioner Rep

I have a 2005 XC90, T6 Automatic. I recently had it checked out for a message code that said "Engine Coolant Low Stop Engine Safely." they said i need to replace my radiator (cracks in it,) water pump, timing belt, and timing belt tension-er. Since i don't have the $1500 + they are asking i have decided to do it myself but can't seem to find any manuals for the Volvo XC90. any Step by Step instructions out there? Anything i need to look out for?

The T6 (6294T) engine is very similar to the S80 engine, which is very similar to the B6304F fitted to the 960s and S90/V90 series. Having said that I believe there is some differences with regard to the variable valve timing and setting up timing marks. Parts required:

8694630 Coolant pump kit
274184 Timing Belt
869 2561 Idler pulley
30622153 Tension pulley
944310 Sealing ring X 2
9458309 Sealing ring X 2
6842273 Sealing ring (oil Pump)
981204 O ring (oil pump)
1275404 oil pump gasket
8603428 or 8603842 or 8603619 Radiator depending on engine number

All of this info was taken from VADIS DVD which you can purchase off eBay for afew dollars. It has XC90 models up to and including 2005.

Volvo Wholesale Parts or FCP groton should be your first stop for parts. Give FCP a call as the search feature only seemed to cater for the 5 cylinder versions.

Once you embark on the project there will be forum members with experience on this car who can assist you to complete the job.
