Hi,
My son purchased a 94 940 turbo sedan with 200 thousand miles on it. It started to leak antifreeze at the upper radiator hose going into the radiator. I replaced the thermostate because it was bad and tighten the hose at the radiator. when tightening it the male piece of the radiator came off. I barely put an pressure on it so it must have been cracked already. there is about 3/4" from being flush. I am wondering if I could get a some type of coupling to glue inside the radiator to form a new nipple ? Does anyone have any ideas besides purchasing another radiator ?? Any help would appreciated. By the way thanks for the forum, I love all the repairs and information.

Unfortuanately, it is time for a new radiator. The OEM plastic tank radiators are notorious for cracking hose nipples. I suggest getting an all-metal replacement radiator. Then you will never have to deal with this problem again. Replacements are available for around $200.

www.radiator.com has one for 229$ for an automatic. I didn't know if yours is a manual or an automatic
