2001 S60 P0303 & P0032 Codes

Post by mhatkins »

I just purchased a 2000 Volvo V70 XC and have a P0303 code which I have determined is Cylinder #3 Misfire. How do I know which cylinder is cylinder #3 when I go to change the coil pak?

I assume it is the middle one of the five, please confirm cylinder order.

Thanks
I have the same code on my 2001 S60. Also the trouble code P0032. I used the carMD reader and their website and the info they gave me is extremely vague. Anyone have any solutions to these codes?

The misfire code for only one cylinder on a 1999-newer car usually means that the coil pack has gone bad. Replace the coil pack, problem fixed.

The P0032 code refers to the heater circuit on your front oxygen sensor. That needs to be replaced as well; use ONLY a genuine sensor or the car will freak out.
