Squealing noise when turning the steering wheel
Squealing noise when turning the steering wheel
I recently had my belts replaced and subsequently tightened but I still get a squealing noise coming from the passenger side of the car. This especially happens when I turn the wheel all the way to the right when parking. Could this be something besides the belts?

When ever you try to turn your steering wheel beyond the stop (or lock) at either extreme (left or right) you will hear the squealing of fluid passing through the relief valve in the pump. Should this occur again, stop forcing your steering against the stop and back it off a little until the squealing stops.
