Re: head gasket repair

Post by omojamie »

one more post.
It's been wicked cold (near -40) so I have just left it be until it warmed up.
I filled up the oil and it starts. It runs really rough. It won't move right away, but once it warms up (a minute, maybe two) it does. After a while it smokes a little. Oddly enough the dipstick tube puffs smoke as it idles.

Any ideas? The coolant is still full, so from my limited knowledge I think the head gasket is intact. Am I wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help.
