Codes 1-3-2 and 1-1-3

Post by cowboysvolvofan »

Hello everyone. I've been researching posts about these codes on this site as well as Google. Based on my symptoms (CEL, stalls on the interstate once every few days, and takes 2 turn-overs before it starts [it used to fire up on first try]), I'm thinking Fuel Pump Relay for 1-1-3 Short term fuel trim, upper limit and I don't know about the 1-3-2 Battery Voltage. Based on
the info I've gained from this site maybe a new coil. I haven't changed it and I'm sure it's original. What do you think? Any information is appreciated, as always.

I'm going outside to clean the MAF right now as well. I'll check port A6 while I'm at it.

A6 yielded nothing. No change yet.

The fuel trim can be any number of things (cleaning the MAF is a good start); but for the random stalling issues, I would buy a new fuel pump relay - it will at least be one thing that won't fail again later.

Thanks for your suggestion. I was thinking the same thing to start with since it's a common failure. Going to go ahead and get a new one. I'll update in a couple weeks to let you know what happens.
