Hey all I have a 95 850 Turbo, That for some reason dies when I put it in drive. It ideals around 15 and will go backwords with no problems. I get a blinking arrow and I did the P-L and it went away but it still dies! Tranny fluid is full and no odd sounds coming from it. Full pump works fine(I can hear it whine in kp2). Any thoughts on what it could be?

This one hose is sucking in air but I cant find where it runs to...Also it will no longer start, tries to turn over but it never gets there.

The vacuum line may account for the high idle (I think you meant 1500 RPM, right?) but it may not be the cause of the stalling.
Does it just cut off as soon as you drop it in D? That may be a stuck SL solenoid that controls torque converter lockup.
Since you have a '95, you could be in luck (at least for us helping you). Read codes from ports A1, A2, A5, and A6 as shown here and post back your results:

Yeah it will run fine in P,R,N but once I put it in D it just dies instant. I did manage to drive a grand total of about 3 feet before it died. I will run the codes as soon as I get home from work friday afternoon and let you know what I find. and yes I ment 1500 RPM lol. Also being here in the in El Paso with all the sand, you don't think that could play a part in any of this do you?

I'm trying to figure out what that thing you're holding is and I really have no idea.
Another thing it might be is a loose turbo hose - check all of those over. That could be the cause of both the starting AND dying issue, since the engine isn't measuring the airflow correctly.

I have a few pics from diffrent angles of the part, and it has me stumped on what it is and even worse why it was just free floating. I was checking all the hoses on the bottom of the radiator and found it just left of the battery tray.

Also I went to check and see if I had any codes and when i pulled the cover off...the wire for the tester came out. Can I just rewire it and it still work, or should I buy a tester?

Did one last check before bed and found that if I have the car in N and shift to D with my foot on brake then QUICKLY switch back to N the car will idel normal. If I do this repeatedly I can move at an amazing 1 inch per 20 seconds or so. This car has had tranny problems in the past(it's my father-in-laws failed project car that was given to me since he killed my 740) The car is also pushing 300k so I'm starting to wounder if a rebuilt tranny might not be a good idea or even just a new/newer XC90

I've still never seen that thing before. It must be the flux capacitor.

That the car will move in reverse but not forwards has got to mean something's wrong inside the transmission - I think that the torque converter solenoid is stuck.
Your best bet is getting the OBDI box connected back up - that will allow you to read transmission codes that the OBDII port will not.
The XC60 is pretty sweet
. Avoid the XC90 T6 whatever you do - the 2.5T and the 3.2 are good powertrain combinations.
