Left turn cornerlamp
Have a 95 850 GLT Sedan. Manufactured in 94. Replacing smashed turnsignal lamp. What holds the cover to the body? It falls out. Also what is best to remove paint scrapes without damaging paint?

I assume you mean the front corner lamp next to the headlight? There is a small spring with a loop for your finger that pulls back and snaps into a small grooved piece of plastic. The spring tension is really the only thing holding it in place.
For the paint, I would try a cleaner wax, polish, or possibly or a clay bar. Don't use anything abrasive on it! Soft towels only. Surface scuffs can generally be gotten off without any damage if you take your time.

If that doesn't work, you might try some plastic headlight lens polish.
But try it first on a part that doesn't show...
