Automatic door lock Problem

I have a 2001 V70-T5. I am having a problem with my door locks. When using the buttons on the doors they will lock but not unlock. The fob works fine and the doors will unlock if the driver door is open and you hit the button. The master module in the driver door was replaced with no change.

Sounds like the master door switch in the driver door needs to be cleaned. Not hard to open and clean the contacts.

I replaced the whole master module. Is this switch not in that module? I was wondering if the passenger door module had anything to do with it.
