Unless you are looking for ultra high dry cornering performance, these are THE best tire you can buy for a Volvo and are reasonable

Sorry Precopster, I just now noticed your question to me. Yep, someone above nailed it (sorry about the association... tires+nails) it's 400+something, a good high rating.precopster wrote:Treadwear isn't published on the sidewall of my ContiContactPro's. How about yours, Matt?
And -- they're still holding the road like the wagon is on rails. They finished the winter out in similar fashion.

Since my original reply, we have drifted further south, Punta Gorda, Fl. As retirement now rules.
With significant rains here during the summer months, these DWS continue to be superb tires, especially now in the rain. They were spectacular in the snow last year and now I am fully pleased with their summer quiet interstate highway ride and now, superb rain-tire performance.
May not buy another set as the Corolla is destined for an upgrade to something else.
I can't say enough about these Conti's .... My first set was changed at 40,000 miles and could have approached the sales value of 50,000 but the winter-time was upon us and I wanted a new set in case the white-stuff fell .... and it did .. !
Regards,
Radman

I'll use the MVS Tire Rack link when I buy my set of Continental TrueContact Tour(s).
Mine are an "H" rated tire with a UTQG rating of 800 A A which appeals to my "sense of thrift".
Every Continental tire I've ever owned has delivered good value.
I was settled on Cooper CS-5's because the CS-4's I had were great but availability seems sparse.
I'd love to hear anyone's first hand experience with filing a claim through Continental's "road hazard" protection.
