I have had several replies to posts not show up. Anyone else having this problem?
I type a reply and click submit and get a response but I will go back to the thread later and it is not there!!!
The replies have no abusive language, personal attacks, or copyrighted info or anything else I could think of that would get the post killed by a moderator.

Jimmy, as one moderator, I can assure you that I haven't deleted any of your posts as everything you add is spot on.

Perhaps Matthew can shed some light on this problem.

Jimmy, I don't see anything in the moderator logs recently for anything that's happened to your posts - I know it hasn't been me, and I'm usually one of the ones to delete or edit things I don't like the tone of. Your advice is usually top-notch and much more technical than my posts since you have known these cars for such a long time.

How recently has this happened?

I replied to the C70 owner about carpet cleaning last night and I don't see it today.
I am trying to watch and see if I am disregarding some site software message. I don't always wait and review the post after the second step ( or is third?) where the page refreshes and the actual post is there. Don't fret it. It was more of an inquiry in case this was an issue others were seeing.

I have hit the preview button before only to completely forget to submit a post I've typed out. Fortunately, you can always hit the back button and it will still be there if you don't close your browser/the tab it's in.

Jimmy,

I've never deleted any of yours either. I agree - your advice is very valuable.

Jimmy, for the time being, please select then copy the text you've written before clicking Submit.

Then do check that your post is there on the following page. If not, the text will be on your Mac or PC's "clipboard", so it's not yet lost.

Do let me know (everyone) in this topic if it happens again. I'll track down the problem and fix it. That is something that would go to the very top of my To Do list.
