Oil in turbo air pipe

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Is there a walkthrough somewhere? I dont wanna screw it up and maybe make things worse. Cant check out the video as im on a mobile and it wont allow it but yeah I definitely dont wanna leave it long. If its not too hard would rather do it sooner myself than later at the dealer.

I dont think theres a walkthrough. Its really simple (2 bolts per turbo). The hard part is figuring out how to get to the bolts. You'll have to be creative. Loosening the exhaust maniold can make it a bit easier. Turbo 1 isnt too bad, you can get that from underneath the car. #2 is a pig, I ended up laying on the motor with my head at the front of the motor and arm reaching back to the underneath of the second turbo. An average DIY'r can do it for sure, its hard to mess it up, just be sure to be patient. Do the orings AND the flange gaskets.

i was just looking at a diy on Bay 13 im assuming for a single turbo car. Does my T6 still have the clip that holds 2 pipes together or just the 2 bolts from the flange? I cant see anything and im hoping it is just the single line with the 2 bolts. The Diy on Bay 13 is for a v70 i believe. It definitely is from the drivers side turbo (of course). Should i take the heat shields from the turbo off? Seems like it will give some more room to get the bolts off the flange.

I have uploaded VADIS 'walk through' for Turbo replacement. Just ignore some parts if not doing complete replacement.

Yeah definately take the heat shields off, pull the aluminum plumbing off too. It will give you more room and you can check your turbos for shaft play. Theres two bolts for the flange on both turbos. In some cars are 5mm allen, some are torx. Grab a small maglite and start shining it around and you'll start to figure out ways to get to the bolts...

Just curious, can I leave the heat shields off or should I really put them back on?

Thanks, I will def put them back on then. Dont need a fire. Went to my local volvo dealer (miller volvo in lebanon,nh) to pick up the gasket and oring. They told me 8 bucks for the set when I called on the phone but when I get there a counter guy helps me and goes to get them and I hear a guy tell him to just charge me 8 dollars apiece. I walked out pretty pissed off without the parts. Getting them tommorow at the next closest dealer (50 miles away though). Anybody in the new england area stay away from miller volvo!

The o ring will cure an external leak, but you said you had oil in the air pipe which is internal.
This is a lot of work if you don't have an oil leak.

I def have an external oil leak. There is oil on the bottom of the oil pan. The return line pipe on the drivers side is black instead of the silver color as it is covered in oil.
